I believe that...
Visualization, creativity and belonging are some of the most powerful tools for building healthier people, communities and societies.
I am energized by daring folks to dream bigger, encouraging safe vulnerability, building intentional community and making space for celebration!
Do-gooders exist in a variety of industries and thusly so has my design experience. My experiences and expertise lie at the intersection of design-thinking, community engagement, branding + marketing and facilitation.
I've designed and developed a wide range of things from user interfaces to event series to professional development trainings to design-thinking workshops to recruitment strategies to marketing campaigns to digital justice initiatives to music videos to voter registration initiatives!
In my current role as a researcher and designer, I listen, learn, ideate, and design solutions to support the ways public institutions serve marginalized folx facing unemployment.
I've also spent over 15 years in the advertising/design industry working in the for profit sector, the non-profit sector and independently as an art director, designer, creative consultant and brand manager. In that time I've learned that I'm most alive when I'm working on mission-based projects for non-profit organizations.
When I’m not designing prototype and talking to awesome Michiganders during my day job, I’m either playing with my child, Arrow, dangling from a trapeze in aerial acrobatics classes, supporting my amazing friends or learning about pleasure activism.
